Winsted has added to its rapidly expanding selection of up-scale console designs suited for large editing suites and high tech command centers where appearance is of the utmost importance. This attractive line of consoles named Slim-Line Uplite is designed for LCD monitors and comes in an almost limitless variety of laminate finishes. It features Winsted's new TruForm© laminate that molds to the shape of the work surface with perfectly smooth edges and corners. This laminate system also allows the user to request any number of custom cut-outs with seamless coverage.

A unique feature of the Slim-Line Uplite console is its indirect lighting system. Two pendant (hanging) fluorescent lighting fixtures direct soft ambient light on the spacious work surface. The perforated grill on the underside of the fixtures allow a portion of the reflected light to reach the work surface eliminating any shadows cast from the ceiling. The attractive cabinets include rounded filing cabinet enclosures with lockable doors on each end of the console. Lockable doors in the back of the system offer un-impeded access to electronics.
