Winsted has added new consoles designed for low profile situations such as lobbys, reception areas, church installation and broadcast stations. The consoles feature viewing angles and eye level heights optimized to eliminate user fatigue and increase efficiency. Based upon accepted ergonomics ideals, the monitors in the single tier model J8400 are lower than normal and angled at a perfect 14°. Ergonomics standards place the height of the average seated person's line-of-vision at 46" so, the low 42" overall height of this console provides a completely unobstructed view of a room.

The rugged units are welded, all-steel construction and are provided in a professional grey color scheme. Another version of this console, the model K8526, can be clad in high pressure laminates with hundreds of colors to choose from and include solid oak accents stained to match your decor. The modular consoles are available in many sizes with 19-1/4" (11U) of rack space in the lower rack module.
